Lynda Topp, M.S.W.
Lynda graduated from the University of Iowa School of Social Work and has been a licensed clinical social worker and mediator for over 25 years. As a therapist, she draws on varied therapy models in order to address each patient’s unique therapeutic needs. Lynda is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, attachment therapy, marital and divorce therapy, psychoeducation, client-centered therapy, family systems theory, psychodynamic and play therapy. For the last eight years, as a therapist in a medical private practice, she has gained an appreciation of the biological/medical aspects of mood disorders, particularly bipolar II, and the importance of a wellness approach to managing mental health conditions. Lynda also works with children and parents addressing abuse issues, ADHD/ADD concerns, behavioral and parenting issues and divorce, custody, and time-sharing plans.
